About the service
This service will allow you to meet with the team, discuss the locality in which your PSO is geographically located and its very specific locations of interest (marked on NUT2 map). As part of this service we will consider the census, pobal index and other indicators to investigate and examine what is the geographical location as regards population, communities, industry, enterprises etc. This will enable the PSO to deliver on a digital strategy for the specific geographic location, based on needs and derive information that will enable the PSO to deliver pillars of digital transformation such as digital raining, innovation and digital supports based on the requirements of the community. It will also enable the PSO to seek out further opportunities to assist new entrants and enterprises in their digital transformation. This work is done alongside Service 2a.
What to expect
Locality:  what types of digital funding (leader Leos etc) or future EU funds are been offered to SMEs/PSOs in your locality.
Stakeholders: who are the key stakeholders within your locality and/or interested parties – champions for the locality?
Population: what are the statics of the locality – population, education andemployment.
Enterprises – what enterprises are located in the region, are their opportunities or new entrants, is there a unique offering that could be provided by the PSO to support the digital transformation of the locality?
Opportunities: By combining service 2a and 2b, you will have a better understanding your locality and region, identifying commonalities and gaps in the digital technologies market alongside the  needs and strategies of your locality, to position your PSO to support new enterprise in the transformation of their digitisation.
