ENTIRE was delighted to be part of the ‘Innovating Together: Cutting Edge Technologies for Industry – AI & Ethics, Cybersecurity, Networks, Software and Human-Computer Interaction’ tech talk which took place on the 28 Jan in University College Cork.

Over 70 delegates attended the event which brought together experts, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the transformative potential of AI & Ethics, Cybersecurity, Networks, Software, and Human-Computer Interaction.

‘Innovating Together’ was made possible through the collaboration of Tech Industry Alliance, UCC’s School of Computer Science & Information Technology, Cork Smart Gateway, Tech Industry Alliance Skillnet, ENTIRE EDIH Ireland, and Insight Research Ireland Centre for Data Analytics. Their collective efforts provided a platform for meaningful discussions at the intersection of research, industry, and innovation.

The morning was packed with insightful technical talks and a dynamic panel discussion, highlighting how emerging technologies are not only reshaping industries but also redefining how we engage with the world around us. Speakers included Dr Chrys Ngwa (External Relations & Business Development Manager at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics), Dr Ena Tobin (Head of Data Analytics at Elgin Energy), Prof. Dirk Pesch (Head of UCC’s School of Computer Science & IT), Prof. Cormac Sreenan, (Professor at UCC School of Computer Science & IT), Dr. Laura Maye, Lecturer at UCC (School of Computer Science & IT) and Prof. Ken Brown (Professor at UCC School of Computer Science & IT and Deputy Director of Insight), who shared their expertise, sparking thought-provoking conversations on the future of technology.
