About the service |
| This service affords a certain level of flexibility to deliver hardware engineering consultancy on a wide range of presented challenges. Such challenges may include PCB design/test/analysis, Bill of Materials (BOM) reviews, system characterisation tests, firmware reviews and recommendations, system integration and bug fixes. |
What to expect |
| The following steps are executed for this service: – Step 1: Benchmark analysis of the presented hardware challenge. – Step 2: PCB design amendments/PCB component analysis and recommended alternatives, design alternations with emphasis on reducing manufacturing costs, firmware analysis/amendments/testing, system characterisation with emphasis on power management, BOM reviews and recommendations, system integration recommendations and demonstrations, and bug fixing supported by relevant system testing. – Step 3: Recommendations where value can be added supported by demonstrations using the presented hardware or hardware/development kit with similar functionality. |
What you take away / Deliverables |
| – Analysis Report: Detailed report focused on what was delivered for this project that may include test results, recommendations, simulated solutions, documented firmware code that is recommended for future implementation. – Recommendations for the selection of further ENTIRE services and available R&D funding programmes. |
