ENTIRE EDIH consortium partner, Walton Institute, has entered into a partnership with EDIH Vilnius in Lithuania around the provision and delivery of Skills Development programmes. Initially this agreement encompasses the sharing of good practice and methodologies as well as skills development content and tools.

Walton Institute’s Stephen Barnes noted, “having delivered information sessions and presentations to our counterparts across Europe through the EDIH Academy, we found that there was an opportunity to not only consolidate our own learning – from the insights of European partners – but also to provide this information to our own clients: small and medium sized businesses as well as public service organisations. The nature of this collaboration also provides us with a basis to deliver our own insights and skills development services to the clients of EDIH Vilnius thereby enhancing the presence of the ENTIRE EDIH consortium in Europe.”

The proposed Skills Development programmes could encompass topics and technologies such as AI, Extended Reality as well as Internet of Things and Edge Computing. It is envisaged that this collaboration could potentially lead to participation in further joint EU initiatives and projects.

Margarita Prokopovič of EDIH Vilnius added, “We’re truly glad about our collaboration and excited about the new opportunities it brings. The EDIH Vilnius trainings have already attracted significant interest, and we believe that adding an international dimension will only strengthen companies’ engagement. Hopefully, this will also lead to lasting partnerships between businesses.”
